In-Home Services

Rapp at Home provides services that can help you with household chores. Our in-home services include:

• Routine Household Tasks: Struggling with light housework or yard work? Are you temporarily incapacitated due to surgery? Our volunteers can lend a hand with occasional chores such as light housecleaning, sweeping your garage, clearing your walkway of snow.
• Technology Support: Feeling overwhelmed by technology? We can help you navigate your computer, the internet, your smart phone, and other electronic devices.
• Trash Removal: If you're unable to take your bag of trash or recycle materials to the county refuse and recycling facilities, we have volunteers who can help.
• Small household repairs/maintenance: Is your railing loose? Do you need to replace the batteries in a smoke detector? Are volunteers have done these chores and more. We replaced a broken leg on a wooden kitchen chair; we moved a dresser for a woman with a broken arm.
• Vendor Referrals: Do you need specialized or professional assistance with tasks like home modifications, legal matters, or pet care? We can connect you with a list of businesses referred and recommended by other Rapp at Home Friends.
